ATTENTION NATURALISTAS!!! Miss Jessie's BOGO!!!

    I know with natural hair we're constantly trying to find the right product to give us definition for our curls and Miss Jessie's is a product I used before I locked up.

So my Loctitician told me about Miss Jessie's and I simply fell in love. It smells good and it's just so simple to use. What's really great about this brand is it was created by two sisters who used their grandmother's old hair concoctions and they still to this day run the company. Also you don't need to use every product under the sun, they have a setting product for whatever type of hold you're looking for such as their Curly Pudding, Curly Meringue and newest product Pillow Soft Curls. They have a daily moisture product called Buttercreme and it comes in a nice baby powder smell called Baby Buttercreme or if you wanna use it on your kids, and shampoos and conditioners. If you're unsure of how to use the line don't fret because they ave video tutorials as well as live chats and they always respond back on their facebook page if you're unsure of what product is good for your hair.

So with all that being said from today to December 15th they are having a BOGO sale, Buy One, Get One FREE!!! It's a great time to try the line you can order it online or get it at select Target stores. I believe there are some exclusions like the 2 oz and value kits but an 8 oz jar usually lasted me about 3 months or a little less. Hey Blog Hey!!!

    This is my very first post and I'm super excited to be starting a Blog! A little about myself and my blog, I am a plus-size,dark skinned black girl, with sisterlocks hence why my blog is called "The Unconventional Beauty"since society says that skinny, lighter skin, and straight hair is what's beautiful and I am quite the opposite of that. I don't find I'm super trendy but I def love accessories and hope I can keep up to date with different makeup looks and outfit of the days if finances permit.  Also although I don't use a lot of product on my hair since I have sisterlocks I will still like to share product info and tips with you all. This will be a beauty blog however I'm a girl with a lot of thoughts and opinions and so occasionally there will be some social issues speckled in there because that's definitely my heart. Anything you have your mind let me know.
